The Arkansas Coalition of Marshallese (ACOM) and the Graphic Design program at the School of Art of the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville worked to understand the difficulties the Marshallese population faced in the Northwest Arkansas region. This project spanned researching and interviewing community members, collaborative brainstorming, and responding to feedback from the local Marshallese community.

I partnered with Kali Davis on an education-focused material:
-how do we share information and resources for college and/or work
-how do we create engaging channels bespoke for the Marshallese community

We believed high school upperclassmen and early college students could influence how the rest of the Northwest Arkansas community developed with the Marshallese population considered.

We interviewed Marshallese students, counselors, educators, and local businesses to create personas; an affinity diagram detailing the concerns and values; a task analysis of when and how to provide assistance; and verbal and visual audits collected from interviews and site visits.
